MOP-G EXPERIMENT

Experiment MOP-G is included in the research program conducted onboard the ISS Russian Segment by spaceflight participant Richard Garriott within the framework of the GTA project. The experiment is to be carried out in the interests of the ESA medical program.


USED SCIENCE HARDWARE:

  • MOP questionnaire with a set of forms,
    where the space flight participant enters, on the day-to-day basis, his motion perceptions and characterizes discomforts experienced in the course of his daily activities, placing primary emphasis on the effects produced by head motions in three planes.
 

PURPOSE:

Gaining an insight into the process of vestibular adaptation to changes in gravity characteristics.

OBJECTIVE:

Evaluating the degree of vestibular adaptation by determining individual motion perception.

EXPERIMENT RESULTS:

Information entered into the questionnaire forms.
