21.12.2005 Baikonur Cosmodrome.
Progress M-55From the Baikonur cosmodrome at 21:38:20 Moscow time a Progress M-55 Transport Cargo Vehicle has been launched. The purpose of the launch is to deliver to the International Space Station the cargoes necessary to continue its operation in the manned mode, support crew life and work conditions, and top off the tanks with propellant and gases.

19.12.2005 Baikonur Cosmodrome.
Progress M-55At 4:00 a.m. Moscow Time, the transporter with the Soyuz-U launch vehicle and the Progress M-55 spacecraft left the Assembly and Testing Facility and arrived to the launch pad for the final pre-launch processing. The Soyuz-U - Progress M-55 system was erected on the launcher.

The orbital module was integrated with the Soyuz-U launch vehicle in the processing facility.

16.12.2005 Baikonur Cosmodrome.
Orbital module of the Soyuz-U launch vehicle, containing Progress M-55 spacecraft was transported from the spacecraft processing facility for the general integration with LV.

15.12.2005 Baikonur Cosmodrome.
Progress M-55 Designers inspection of the Progress M-55 cargo vehicle was completed. Payload shroud roll on to the cargo vehicle was performed.

14.12.2005 Baikonur Cosmodrome.
Progress M-55 transport cargo vehicle was docked with the transfer compartment in the Spacecraft Assembly and Testing Facility.

13.12.2005 Baikonur Cosmodrome.
 -7After being filled with propellant and charged with compressed gases, Progress M-55 transport cargo vehicle was delivered to Assembly and Test Building for SC to conduct final prelaunch operations.
