An official red carpet welcome of the first Russian visiting
crew to the International Space Station took place.
The airplane carrying the crew landed at Chkalovsky air
field near Moscow on May 6, 2001 at 17:50 Moscow Summer
Moscow Mission Control Center (MCC-M) has hosted a press
conference of the first visiting crew, which arrived on-board
ISS on April 30, 2001 in Soyuz TM-32 transportation vehicle.

At 8 hours 00 minutes Moscow Summer Time the State Commission
meeting was held with the aim to approve the following makeup
of the Soyuz TM-32 crew: Talgat Musabayev, Commander; Yuri
Baturin, Flight Engineer and Dennis Tito, flight participant.
The back-up crew: Viktor Afanasiev, Commander; Konstantin
Kozeev, Flight Engineer.
04/26/2001. Baikonur cosmodrome
Installation of the Soyuz-U launch vehicle with the Soyuz
TM-32 spacecraft on the launching pad.
At 5:00 a.m. Moscow time launch vehicle with the Soyuz
TM-32 spacecraft was transferred from Assembly and Testing
Facility to launch site.
04/25/2001. Baikonur cosmodrome
At 15 hours Moscow time the Intergovernmental Commission
and Technical Management Meeting was held at which it was
decided that on April 26, 2001 the launch vehicle with the
Soyuz TM-32 spacecraft would be rolled out from Assembly
and Testing Facility to launch site.

The first Russian visiting crews to the ISS consisting of
T.Musabaev, Yu.Baturin and D.Tito (prime crew) and V.Afanasiev,
K.Kozeev (backup crew) arrived to the launch site to immediate
training for the flight to the Inernational Space Station
scheduled on April 28.
