The ASEC software and mathematical support provides the release of commands from the Ecolog automated work station, designed to remotely control the stations, in order to perform the following operations:

a) Switching on/off of power buses of measurement instruments;
b) Change of time of data transmission;
c) Change of data collection periodicity;
d) Switching on/off of interrogation of required measured parameters;
e) Calibration of measurement instruments on CO and CH with the use of calibration mixed gases*;
f) Station conservation and stopping.

* - Calibration mixed gasses are stored inside the balloons as part of ASEC. The mixed gas supply provides for one year of operation of the station, after that time it should be replenished. Gas analyzers on SO2 and NO/NO2/NOx are calibrated manually on a regular basis once a month/quarter (depending on technical state of instruments) with the use of special generator of mixed gases and sources of SO2 and NO2 microflows.
