Progress S-19 passed vacuum tests

December 21, 2021

At the Baikonur Cosmodrome, the leak tests of the cargo transportation spacecraft Progress MS-19 in the vacuum chamber of the integration and test facility at Site 254 are completed.

According to the work schedule specialists from RSC Energia and SC Yuzhnyi performed a cycle of pneumatic vacuum tests of Progress MS-19 proceeded from December 16. Automated ground verification of stringent pressurization integrity requirements for the spacecraft compartments and onboard systems was conducted without comments. Today, Progress MS-19 was transported back to the worksite for further preflight processing.

The launch of the Soyuz-2.1a launch vehicle carrying Progress MS-19 under the program of the 80th re-supply mission to the ISS is scheduled for February 2022 from the Baikonur Cosmodrome.
