Filling of Progress M-NM cargo spacecraft-module

November 11, 2021

In accordance with the technical managements decision, the cargo transportation spacecraft-module Progress M-NM with Node Module (NM) Prichal was delivered to the filling station at the Baikonur cosmodrome.

Before transportation to the filling-neutralizing station the spacecraft-module underwent check weighing, balancing, and upon completion of preparatory activities was sent to Site 31. This morning, specialists from RSC Energia and core enterprises of Roscosmos embarked on fueling of Progress M-NM with propellant components and compressed nitrogen of the propellant supply system of the united propulsion system. Upon completion of the fueling operations the spacecraft-module will return to Site 254 to undergo the final stage of prelaunch processing.

The universal Node Module Prichal developed and produced by S.P.Korolev RSC Energia is designed to increase technical and operational capabilities of the ISS Russian Segment. The launch of the Prichal NM within Progress M-NM by launch vehicle Soyuz-2.1b is planned for November 24, 2021.
