Manned spacecraft Soyuz MS-20 sent to Baikonur

The checkout and testing station at S.P.Korolev RSC Energia has completed the initial phase of integrated factory tests on the manned transportation spacecraft Soyuz MS-20. Yesterday the spacecraft was sent to Baikonur in order to continue its standard preparation at the processing facility.

During the period starting this January, RSC Energia specialists have performed a full program of stand-alone tests of the Soyuz MS-20 onboard systems and assemblies Upon completion of integrated, pneumatic and vacuum, and acceptance tests the spacecraft passed the final inspection and was prepared for the shipping to the launch site by rail.

The launch of Soyuz-2.1a launch vehicle carrying Soyuz-MS-20 under the program of the ISS-66 Expedition crew and the 20th visiting crew delivery to the International Space Station is scheduled for December 2021.
