Nauka module is being installed at the workstation

August 26, 2020

On August 21, 2020 specialists from S.P.Korolev Rocket and Space Corporation Energia and Khrunichev Space Center (part of Roscosmos State Corporation) are accepting and installing the Nauka module at the workstation at the Baikonur Launch Site.

Russian specialists have completed a required set of works on removing the fasteners used for transportation of the new scientific module, and have proceeded with removal of the equipment tie-down straps.

According to the work schedule for ten days specialists from the Russian rocket and space industry will conduct a number of operations on preparing the module workstation, and install it at the workstation in the integration and test facility of the launch site.
