Progress MS-15 cargo vehicle is admitted to fueling

July 9, 2020

The Technical Management meeting was held at the Baikonur Launch Site at which a decision was taken to admit Progress MS-15 cargo transportation spacecraft to fueling of the combined propulsion system and the cargo spacecraft refueling system.

Before being transported to the filling station, the spacecraft was subject to check weighing and balancing at the integration and test facility of Area 254. As per schedule, specialists from RSC Energia and core enterprises of Roscosmos will perform planned operations on filling Progress MS-15 with fuel components and compressed gases. Upon completion of the fueling operations, the spacecraft will be brought back to Area 254 to continue its prelaunch processing.

The launch of the Soyuz-2.1a launch vehicle with Progress MS-15 is scheduled for July 23, 2020 from the Baikonur Launch Site under the 76th re-supply mission to the International Space Station.
