December 30, 2019

On December 27 RSC Energia held the year-end meeting to review the results of the Corporation work in 2019.

A report on the major results of the companys activities in the outgoing year and plans for the next few years was delivered by general director general designer of RSC Energia N.N. Sevastianov.

In his opening remarks N.N.Sevastianov conveyed all the best wishes for the New Year and thanks to the team for the work they had done from the general director of the State Corporation Roscosmos D.O. Rogozin.

An important result of the work that has been done in our industry was that this year, for the first time in 16 years, turned out to be failure-free. There have been 25 launches, in 11 of which RSC Energia was directly involved, pointed out N.N. Sevastianov. Launched during this year were four Soyuz-MS spacecraft and three Progress-MS spacecraft, as well as the EgyptSat-A satellite and a satellite under a contract with a foreign customer. In addition to this, after a long break, upper stage Block DM-03 developed and built at RSC Energia were used to successfully put into orbit spacecraft Spektr-RG and Elektro-L.

Speaking about plans for the future, the head of the company pointed out that the Corporation had before it some major efforts under advanced projects, including the new-generation crew transportation spacecraft, medium space rocket system Soyuz-5, and the super-heavy space rocket system.

The results of work in their respective areas were reported by the managers who are the members of the new Management Board recently approved by the Board of Directors of the Corporation.

The meting ended with a ceremony of presenting to Corporation employees government awards and awards from the urban district of Korolev.
