Felix Sergeevich Vlasov passed away

Felix Sergeevich Vlasov On November 2 Felix Segeevich Vlasov, Chief Designer of NII Argon died.

Felix Sergeevich Vlasov was born on November 17, 1937 in Baku, Azerbaijan Soviet Socialist Republic. In 1960 he graduated from Ryazan Radio Engineering Institute. From 1963 at enterprises of NIITsEVT, NII Argon Vlasov was engaged in the development of highly reliable onboard computers. He is an author of over 50 scientific works and 30 certificates of authorship. He is decorated with four medals, Order of Honour, and a badge of Honourary Radio Operator.

For more than 50 years F.S. Vlasov collaborated with RSC Energia. In this time period close business, creative and friendly ties were established.

Since 1967 F.S. Vlasov is one of the leading developers, Deputy Chief Designer of ODCC Argon-16. The structural redundancy methods introduced by Vlasov in the development of ODCC Argon-16 provided its failure-free operation during normal operation in the Soyuz and Progress manned and cargo spacecraft from 1979 to 2012 and the Mir orbital station.

In the 1990s as the Chief Designer he completed the development of matching units MU31, MU21, MU22; they were put into production for the onboard computer system of the ISS Russian Segment, supervised work on the creation of onboard computers DC11, DC40, matching units MU11, MU14 for the Yamal-100, Yamal-200 communication satellites, ERS satellites BelKa, EgyptSat.

The advanced ideas on the creation of digital computer systems introduced by F.S. Vlasov are implemented in up-to-date developments of enterprises of Scientific and Technical Center Module, NPO Rubikon-Innovatsia, ZAO Orbita.
