August 5, 2019

In the Assembly and Test Facility of site 254 of the Baikonur Cosmodrome teams of S.P. Korolev RSC Energia and other core enterprises of Roscosmos continue to work with the Soyuz MS-14 manned transport spacecraft.

Today the spacecraft solar array check is completed.

Work on the solar array check envisages opening of the stand site where the spacecraft is installed, removal of protection panels from solar arrays and their deployment after which the solar array illumination (lighting) is provided with special illuminators. Upon completion of work the solar arrays were folded and recovered with protection panels.

The launch of the Soyuz-2.1a launch vehicle with the Soyuz MS-14 manned transport spacecraft is scheduled for August 22 from launch site No. 31 of the Baikonur Cosmodrome.
