Energia team won bronze in the championship Young Professionals of Roscosmos-2019

RSC Energia team has become the second runner-up in overall ranking of the Fourth Corporate WorldSkills-compliant professional skills championship Young Professionals-2019, which closed on June 4.

Taking part in the championship were 124 experts and 127 young specialists from 30 companies and organizations in the rocket and space industry. Representatives of Energia competed in 10 out of 14 declared skills areas: Prototype Manufacturing, CAD Engineering Design, Internet Marketing, Recruiter, Network and System Administration, Electronics, Production Engineer, CNC Turning, CNC Milling, Welding.

The first place in the skills area Prototype Manufacturing was won by engineer-designer from RSC Energia Kirill Kochnev. Two silver medals for the team were won by technician Nikolai Minailov (Electronics) and engineer-designer Kirill Frolov (CAD Engineering Design). The third place in the skills area Production Engineer was won by an employee of ZAO ZEM of RSC Energia Mikhail Matveev.

The third place in the team event was shared with RSC Energia by representatives of the Votkinsk plant. The second place was won by the team from NPO Avtomatiki, while JSC Information Satellite Systems Reshetnev became the winner of the corporate championship.

The championship was sponsored by the administration of the town of science of Korolev, Technology University, S.P.Korolev Technical School, IPK Mashpribor, Moscow State Educational Complex and RSC Energia. During the competition the participants were offered a business program and additional professional training in each of the areas of skills that were represented.

The winners of the Fourth Corporate Championship will join the combined Roscosmos team to take part in the annual national championship of cross-industry working professions in the high-technology industries WorldSkills Hi-Tech, which is to held in October 2019 in Yekaterinburg.
