RSC Energia (which is included in State Corporation Roscosmos) held a session of the Council of Chief Designers for the Russian Segment (RS) of the International Space Station (ISS).
General Director of RSC Energia Nikolai Sevastianov talked about the tasks of the Council of Chief Designers which included reviewing the launch readiness of the Crew Transportation Spacecraft (CTS) Soyuz MS-13, of the launch vehicle Soyuz-FG, of the ground infrastructure, and the readiness of the ISS for the next stage in its mission.

June 25 saw successful completion of qualification tests on the pressurized compartment of the Science and Power Module (SPM) that is being developed at RSC Energia.
Tests run at FSUE TsNIIMash confirmed the compliance of the SPM pressurized shell with the specification requirements, according to which the module life in orbit shall be 15 years.

Crew members of the manned spacecraft Soyuz MS-11, which undocked today from the International Space Station (ISS), have successfully returned to Earth. The descent vehicle carrying cosmonaut Oleg Kononenko and astronauts David Saint-Jacques and Anne landed on June 25, 2019 at 05:48 Moscow Time.

Today, on June 21, test cosmonaut Oleg Skripochka was trained at RSC Energia in the framework of the ISS-61/62 crew training.
He studied and tested in detail the photo and video equipment being used onboard the ISS RS, as well as the equipment of the photo image reference system.
In addition, the cosmonaut tested the capabilities of the amateur radio station installed on board the International Space Station.

Bauman Moscow State Technical University signed a strategic partnership agreement providing for training of the Corporation personnel at the University Space Faculty and joint space activities. For RSC Energia the agreement was signed by Director General N.N. Sevastianov, for the Mytishchi branch of MSTU by Director V.G. Sanaev.

Today, June 14, 2019, in compliance with the decision of the State Commission Proton-M launch vehicle (LV) with Upper Stage (US) DM-03 and new orbital observatory Spektr-RG was delivered from the integration facility of site 92-50 to the launch pad. The Proton-M LV transportation to the launch pad began in the morning at 4:30 Moscow time.
Presently the launch vehicle with the spacecraft has been delivered to the launch complex of site 81, installed on the launch pad in a vertical position. Upon delivery to the launch vehicle of the service tower and service lines connection specialists of ROSCOSMOS enterprises proceeded to operations under the schedule of the launch minus two days.

Students studying under a network masters program in Space Materials Science Technologies presented their final qualifying theses at RSC Energia.
For a year, the masters students from Tomsk have been undergoing internship training in research and development at Energia. Lecturers from Tomsk Polytechnic University (TPU) gave them special remote courses within the curriculum. At the same time, the students combined work on their graduation papers with work at Corporate subdivisions.

Specialists of the ROSCOSMOS enterprises carried out the general assembly of the Proton-M integrated launch vehicle at the Baikonur Cosmodrome. Last days off Ascent Unit (AU) consisting of Upper Stage DM-03 with Spektr-RG docked to it was transferred from a clean room to the launch vehicle (LV) assembly room.
Upon completion of transportation the launch vehicle and the ascent unit mechanical mating was provided. Teams of the rocket-space industry specialists provided mating of electrical contacts between the Payload Unit and LV and also conducted all the required checks envisaged by the work schedule.

On June 7 a deputy general director of Energia corporation, head of the Baikonur branch office, honored military specialist of the Russian Federation, honored tester of rocket and space hardware, Candidate of Engineering Sciences, corresponding member of the Russian Space Academy named after K.E.Tsiolkovsky, a Freeman of the town of Baikonur, lieutenant general Leonid Timofeyevich Baranov turned 70.

RSC Energia team has become the second runner-up in overall ranking of the Fourth Corporate WorldSkills-compliant professional skills championship Young Professionals-2019, which closed on June 4.
Taking part in the championship were 124 experts and 127 young specialists from 30 companies and organizations in the rocket and space industry. Representatives of Energia competed in 10 out of 14 declared skills areas: Prototype Manufacturing, CAD Engineering Design, Internet Marketing, Recruiter, Network and System Administration, Electronics, Production Engineer, CNC Turning, CNC Milling, Welding.
