ROSCOSMOS. Spacecraft Soyuz МS-07 crew returned to the Earth

June 3, 2018

On June 3, 2018 at 15:39:42 Moscow time the crewmembers of manned transportation spacecraft Soyuz МS-07 and ISS-54/55 Expedition successfully returned to the Earth. The decent module carrying ROSCOSMOS cosmonaut Anton SHKAPLEROV, NASA astronaut Scott TINGLE and JAXA astronaut Norishige KANAI landed in the Kazakh steppe.

All re-entry and landing operations went normally. The health status of the returned crewmembers is good. The on-orbit duration of the mission for the ISS-54/55 Expedition crew was 168 days.

During their stay on the International Space Station the crew performed a program of applied scientific research and experiments under the long-duration ISS-54 and ISS-55 Expeditions, maintained the ISS functional capability and outfitted it with equipment delivered by logistics vehicles.

The landing was observed by DMITRY ROGOZIN, Director General of State Corporation ROSCOSMOS, ALEXANDER IVANOV, Chairman of the State Launch Commissions and NIKOLAY SEVASTYANOV, acting First Deputy of ROSCOSMOS General Director. In addition, Dmitry Olegovich ROGOZIN became familiar with the work of the Mission Control Center departments and held a meeting on MCC further development.
