Staff members of the flight test department of RSC Energia (a part of State Corporation Roscosmos) together with representatives of the Institute for Bio-Medical Problems of the Russian Academy of Sciences (IBMP RAS) and Gagarin Cosmonaut Training Center (GCTC) have completed an experiment to simulate the intravehicular activities of the crew in the ergonomic mockup of the Science and Power Module (SPM).

On April 26, 2018 transport cargo vehicle (CV) Progress S-07 completed its mission.
Nominally, TCV Progress S-07 departed from the docking compartment Pirs (DC1) of the Russian Segment of the International Space Station (ISS) at 16:50:30 Moscow time on March 28, 2018.
After undocking space vehicle Progress S-07 continued its orbital flight in an automatic mode during which applied scientific research and experiments were conducted.

The delegation of RSC Energia took part in the negotiations for the Angosat project which took part in the Republic of Angola.
On the Russian side, Vladimir Tararov, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation to the Republic of Angola, Sergey Saveliev, Deputy Director General for International Cooperation of the Roscosmos State Corporation, Oleg Frolov, a member of the Board of the Military Industrial Commission of the Russian Federation, representatives of the Russian Embassy took part in the negotiations. The Energia Corporation was represented by Igor Frolov, Chief Designer of Automatic Space Complexes and Systems.

Today, April 17, the deal by the Energia group to sell the assets of the Sea Launch project to S7 Group has been completed.
A preliminary agreement to sell the Sea Launch system was signed in late 2016 at the International Astronautical Congress in Guadalajara, Mexico. The agreement establishing the final terms of the deal was concluded in December of the same year.
The subjects of the transaction are the ship Sea Launch Commander and the platform Odyssey with their installed rocket segment equipment, the ground support equipment at the Home Port of Long Beach (USA) and the Sea Launch trademark.

Russian and US schoolchildren and students took part in the first ever joint Space Lesson organized by RT in cooperation with RSC Energia. The students had a chance to talk with cosmonauts onboard the ISS and among themselves, as well as to appreciate panoramic videos of the RT project Space 360. In spite of the crisis in the relations between the two countries and its status as foreign agent, the TV channel did not come up against any obstacles while organizing the lesson, and the local media presented it in a positive light. The school team of RSC Energia took part in the RoboCup Competition 2018, which was held in Tomsk from April 13 to 15, 2018.
The team of schoolchildren of gymnasium No.11 (Korolev) successfully performed in the RoboCup Junior Rescue Line League, namely, competitions of robot-rescuers, and joined the ranks of 12 final teams after two attempts. The schoolchildren received preliminary training under the additional education program in the area of robotics which RSC Energia has been implementing jointly with the Tomsk State University of Control Systems and Radioelectronics (TUCSR).

The Energia delegation visited Educational Center for Gifted Children Sirius (Sochi). The Corporation General Director Vladimir Solntsev within the framework of the Space Lectures project told pupils about the nearest prospects of space exploration.
- Work with young people is one of the priorities of the Corporation. It is very important for us that children were carried away by space from school-days. We support various educational programs aimed at drawing young people into rocket-space industry: we create aerospace classes, give interactive space lessons and subject shifts in childrens camps. Our task is to motivate children and help them to display their talents, - Vladimir Solntsev said.

This Cosmonatics Day, April 12, saw the opening of the exhibition center Space and Aviation in the renovated and restored Space Pavilion in VDNKh. RSC Energia took an active part in creating the exhibit at the largest museum center of Russia.
Presented here is the history of development and achievements of our countrys spaceflight: From the first simplest spacecraft to the most complex advanced projects of tomorrow. This large exhibit, a joint project of the Government of Moscow, VDNKh and State Crorporation Roscosmos, can be visited by 20 thousand people a day, which means that the glorious spacefaring past of our country and ambitious interplanetary projects of the near future will become closer and more familiar to many thousands of our fellow citizens.

Today we, the big space family, carry on the traditions established by Sergei Korolev and his associates. Yesterday, April 10, there was held one more Space Lesson, already the seventh, dedicated to the subject Manned Spaceflight. Earth in the Porthole. Taking part in it were schoolchildren from the aerospace class of the Lycee under the aegis of the Tomsk Polytechnic University, pupils of the Educational Center for Gifted Children Sirius (in Sochi), pupils of the aerospace class of gymnasium No. 11 of the town of Korolev. For the first time the educational project was joined by representatives from USA students of the University of South Carolina (South Carolina) and schoolchildren from the Bozeman High School (Montana).

A Roscosmos committee has approved RSC Energias conceptual design for the Medium Launch Vehicle System intended for flight developmental testing of key elements of the Super-Heavy Space Launch Vehicle System. The acceptance report and committees statement have been handed over to Energia.
The documents note that the Soyuz-5 design has been studied to an adequate level of detail and in accordance with the requirements of the statement of work under the government contract.
