After filling the vehicle was delivered to the spacecraft integration and test facility (SC ITF) and installed in the jig for performing final processing operations.

Within the framework of celebrations to mark the 60th anniversary of the launch of the Earth's first artificial satellite Energia hosted a meeting of veterans of the Baikonur launch site members of the launch crew of 1957. They came from Moscow and the region around Moscow, St.Petersburg, Vladimir, Kaluga, Saratov, Krasnodar, Pyatigorsk.
The meeting began in the museum of the Corporation, which features a display of various space hardware: Descent vehicles of the first manned spacecraft Vostok, Voskhod and Soyuz, full-scale mockups of the Mir space station and robotic spacecraft from the first satellite to interplanetary probes.

State Corporation Roscosmos and NASA (National Aeronautics and Space Administration, USA) signed a joint statement on cooperation in deep space research and exploration during the 68th International Aerospace Congress in Adelaide (Australia).
Roscosmos and NASA affirmed their intent to continue using the International Space Station (ISS) as a basis for further space exploration, as well as their cooperation in the framework of an international lunar program: Establishment of a cis-lunar man-tended platform Deep Space Gateway, harmonization of standards, science missions to low lunar orbit and the lunar surface.

The guests were addressed by the General Director of ROSCOSMOS Igor KOMAROV: Space exploration started 60 years ago. On October 4, 1957 our country launched the first artificial satellite of Earth. That was how the Space Age of the Humankind began. 1960s and 70s were the golden years of the worlds space science. It was the time of firsts. And 60 years after the launch of the first satellite, it is working in international cooperation that the humankind achieved serious successes in space exploration. It is no coincidence that the new town of science Tsiolkovsky located in the vicinity of the newly constructed launch site Vostochny is named after this scienctist.
