RSC Energia is an active participant in the 37th Academic Lectures on Cosmonautics

S.P. Korolev Rocket and Space Corporation Energia takes an active part in the proceedings of the 33rd Academic Lectures on Cosmonautics, which began at Bauman Moscow State Technical University (MSTU).

The plenary meeting of the Lectures was opened by the Head of MSTU A.A. Aleksandrov. The keynote speaker at the meeting was first deputy general designer of RSC Energia, chairman of the organizing committee of the Lectures, a member of the Russian Academy of Sciences V.P. Legostaev.

Speakers at the plenary meeting included: the head of Roscosmos V.A. Popovkin (co-chairman of the Lectures Organizing Committee), general director of the Keldysh Research Center, member of the Russian Academy of Sciences A.S. Koroteev, representatives of other companies and organizations of the Russian rocket and space industry.

The heads of three workshops and of the round table of the forum were scientists and leading specialists of RSC Energia, full members of the Russian Academy of Sciences V.P. Legostaev and Ye.A. Mikrin, corresponding member of the Russian Academy of Sciences V.A. Soloviev, member of the Russian Academy of Cosmonautics, member of the Bureau of Presidium of the Russian Cosmonautics Federation V.D. Blagov. Presented at the Lectures are more than 15 papers from scientists and specialists of the Corporation.

  1. The annual Academic Lectures on Cosmonautics are dedicated to the memory of Academician S.P. Korolev and his associates - outstanding scientists who pioneered space exploration in our country.
  2. In 2013 the forum is held in the January 29 to February 1 timeframe. Its program includes 22 workshops, as well as a round table. Taking part in the Lectures are outstanding scientists, employees and veterans of space companies and organizations from Russia and abroad as well as cosmonauts, young specialists, students and graduates from Russian institutions of higher learning that train specialists in the fields associated with space science.
