Objective:

Conduct of spatial mapping and time monitoring of acoustic fields in the ISS RS habitable compartments.

Tasks:

Measuring acoustic field levels in the main working and rest areas of crew members both in the ISS RS habitable compartments and in Descent Vehicle.

Hardware Used:

  • Onboard sound analyser 2260 (sound level meter) for measuring acoustic noise levels.

Expected Results:

Solving the problems of standardizing and protection of crew from injurious exposure to acoustic noise.
