Acquisition of new data on gas-liquid processes in root-inhabited media in space flight conditions

Tasks:

Experimental determination of moisture and gas capillary diffusion ratios

Hardware Used:

Experimental Cuvette Kit for determining moisture transfer characteristics (rate of impregnation front movement and moisture content change in separate zones) LIV Videocomplex
for video shooting of impregnation front motion

Expected Results:

Development of a facility with root-inhabited environment for plant growing as applied to microgravity conditions
