Soyuz MS-15 arrived at the ISS

September 25, 2019

The Soyuz MS-15 manned spacecraft at 22:42 Moscow time on September 25, 2019 docked to the docking port of Service Module Zvezda of the International Space Station Russian Segment.

A 4-orbit rendezvous capability of Soyuz with the Station was envisaged by the flight program. The docking was performed in the automatic mode under supervision of specialists of the Lead Operational Control Team of the Russian Segment of the International Space Station at the Mission Control Center.

Presently the crews perform preparatory operations to open the transfer hatches: conduct leak checks of the spacecraft compartments and provide pressure equalization between the ISS and the spacecraft, as well as take off spacesuits in the habitation module.

Earlier on September 25, 2019 at 16:57 Moscow time the last launch vehicle Soyuz-FG with the Soyuz MS-15 manned spacecraft was launched. It delivered the crew, namely Roscosmos cosmonaut Oleg Skripochka, NASA astronaut Jessica Meir and space flight participant from UAE Hazza Al Mansouri with call sign Sarmaty to the International Space Station.
