The Soyuz MS-14 manned transport spacecraft has been sent to general assembly

August 16, 2019

Today, on August 16, the Soyuz MS-14 manned transport spacecraft, developed and produced by RSC Energia, within the payload module was transported for general assembly with the Soyuz-2.1a launch vehicle to the assembly and test facility (ATF) on site No. 31 of the Baikonur cosmodrome.

A set of processing operations for general assembly will be performed at ATF in the framework of pre-launch processing under the program of the International Space Station (the ISS).

The launch of the Soyuz 2.1a launch vehicle with the Soyuz MS-14 spacecraft is scheduled for August 22, 2019 from launch site No. 31 of the Baikonur cosmodrome. It will be implemented in the unmanned mode and be the first test one for the rocket-space complex of the Soyuz 2.1a LV with the Soyuz MS spacecraft.
