![]() NewsProgress MS-12 logistics spacecraft received authorization to proceed with fuellingJuly 16, 2019Preparations continue for the launch of logistics spacecraft Progress MS-12 under the International Space Station (ISS) program. Today, July 16, the technical management held a meeting which confirmed the readiness of the cargo transportation spacecraft Progress MS-12 for filling with propellant components and compressed gases, and the decision was made to proceed with the fuelling of the spacecraft. According to the decision, authorization to proceed with operations at the filling station was given with regard to the integrated propulsion system and the refueling system of the logistics spacecraft. The filling station equipment is ready for the operations. The launch of the logistics spacecraft Progress MS-12 on the launch vehicle Soyuz-2.1a from the Baikonur Cosmodrome is scheduled for July 31, 2019. The objective of the mission is to deliver to ISS propellant, water and other cargoes that are needed to support the operation of the space station in manned mode.
