RSC Energia: Soyuz MS-13 spacecraft is fueled with propellant components and compressed gases

July 8, 2019

Specialists RSC Energia and other enterprises of ROSCOSMOS completed operations for fueling the Soyuz MS-13 manned transport spacecraft with propellant components and compressed gases at the Baikonur Launch Site.

After fueling, the spacecraft was brought into the spacecraft Assembly and Testing Facility (SC ATF) and installed in the assembly jig for conducting the subsequent pre-launch processing operations.

According to the pre-launch processing schedule, the following is planned to be provided this week: the mating of the Soyuz MS-13 spacecraft with the adapter section of the launch vehicle, designers inspection and encapsulation.

The launch of the Soyuz-FG launch vehicle with the Soyuz MS-13 manned transport spacecraft is scheduled for July 20, 2019 from the Baikonur Launch Site.

The prime crew of the ISS-60/61 consists of Roscosmos cosmonaut Aleksandr Skvortsov, ESA astronaut Luca Parmitano and NASA astronaut Andrew Morgan. Their backups are Roscosmos cosmonaut Sergei Ryzhikov, NASA astronaut Thomas Marshburn and JAXA astronaut Soichi Noguchi.
