July 5, 2019

On July 4, 2019 the prime and the backup crews of manned transportation spacecraft Soyuz MS-13 arrived at the Baikonur launch site to go through the final stages of prelaunch processing.

The prime crew of the ISS-60/61 consists of Roscosmos cosmonauts Aleksandr Skvortsov, ESA astronaut Luca Parmitano and NASA astronaut Andrew Morgan. Their backups are Roscosmos cosmonaut Sergei Ryzhikov, NASA astronaut Thomas Marshburn and JAXA astronaut Soichi Noguchi.

The crew commanders reported on readiness for per-flight training and receiving the Soyuz MS-13 spacecraft.

After the crew report to the management, they went to Yu.A. Gagarin CTC Test Training Facility, where they will have to receive a set of trainings, lessons and briefings. Also every day the cosmonauts and astronauts will be engaged in physical training and pass medical examinations.

The launch of the Soyuz-FG launch vehicle with Soyuz MS-13 is scheduled for July 20, 2019 from the Baikonur launch site.
