Expedition 59/60 (ISS-59/60)
KEY TASKS OF THE EXPEDITION DURING ISS-59
(March 14 - June 25, 2019)
- putting into orbit onboard Soyuz MS-12 spacecraft one Russian crewmember and two NASA crewmembers of Expedition -59/60;
- dock Soyuz MS-12 with MRM1 Rassvet;
- docking Progress MS-11 with DC1 of the Pirs module;
- docking and unloading Cygnus spacecraft mission NG-11 to Node1-Nadir (to be determined);
- docking and unloading Dragon spacecraft mission SpX-17 to Node2-Nadir (to be determined);
- docking of the cargo carrier version of the commercial manned spacecraft CST-100 mission Boe-ÎFT to Node2-Frd (to be determined);
- loading and undocking of the Dragon spacecraft mission SpX-17 from Node2-Nadir port (to be determined);
- unloading Progress MS-11 spacecraft;
- loading and undocking the cargo carrier version of the commercial manned spacecraft CST-100 mission Boe-ÎFT from Node2-Frd (to be determined);
- loading and undocking Progress MS-10 spacecraft from SM propulsion compartment;
- docking of the commercial manned spacecraft Dragon 2 mission SpX-DM2 to Node2-Frd carrying two astronauts onboard (visiting mission) (to be determined);
- loading and undocking of the commercial manned spacecraft Dragon 2 mission SpX-DM2 from Node2-Frd carrying two astronauts onboard (visiting mission) (to be determined);
- providing support for loading of Soyuz MS-11 and undocking it from Mini Research Module Poisk (MRM2) (return of three crew members of Expedition ISS-57/58/59);
- performing one EVA from the Russian Segment;
- performing three EVAs from the US Segment;
- maintaining the space station in working condition;
- carrying out a program of scientific and applied research and experiments;
- performing onboard still and video photography to chronicle the ISS RS mission and activities under the program of symbolic activities.
Expedition ISS-59 has a crew of 6 (March 15, 2019 – June 25, 2019).
