Spacecraft Soyuz MS-11 mated to the adapter section

Today, on November 25, specialists from RSC Energia working at the Baikonur launch site have successfully completed operations to mate the manned transportation spacecraft Soyuz MS-11 to the adapter section of Soyuz-FG launch vehicle.

Under the schedule of processing activities a designer’s inspection of the spacecraft and roll-on of the payload fairing are planned for the day after tomorrow.

The launch of Soyuz-FG launch vehicle with Soyuz MS-11 spacecraft is planned for December 3, 2018 from the Baikonur launch site.

The prime crew of ISS-58/59 consists of Roscosmos cosmonaut Oleg Kononenko, CSS astronaut David Saint-Jacques and NASA astronaut Anne McClain. Their backups are Rosocosmos cosmonaut Alexander Skvortsov, ESA astronaut Luca Parmitano and NASA astronaut Andrew Morgan.
