The launch vehicle with Progress MS-02 vehicle of a new series has been installed at the launch site

Today, on March 29 the Soyuz 2.1a launch vehicle of medium class with Progress MS-02 cargo transport vehicle (CTV) of a new series is rolled out from the assembly & testing facilities and installed in a vertical position at launch site No. 31 of the Baikonur Cosmodrome.

The launch of the Progress MS-02 CTV with cargo for the International Space Station (ISS) is scheduled on March 31. It will be the second launch of transport vehicle of new series MS. The modernized cargo vehicle will deliver about 2.5 t of different cargo including dry cargo, propellant, water and compressed oxygen to the ISS.

In the activities at the Baikonur Cosmodrome specialists of RSC Energia and other leading enterprises of rocket-space industry involved in the development and processing of the Soyuz 2.1 LV/Progress MS-02 CTV rocket-space complex and also in the support of the ground infrastructure operation take part.
