The State Commission held its meeting at Baikonur launch site where the primary and backup crews for Soyuz TMA-02M were approved and the readiness of the space launcher system was confirmed.

The State Commission approved the proposed composition of the primary and backup crews.

Prime crew: Michael Fossum (NASA, USA), ISS-28 Flight Engineer, ISS-29 Commander, Soyuz TMA-02M Flight Engineer; Volkov Sergei (Roscosmos, Russia), ISS-28/29 Flight Engineer, Soyuz TMA-02M Commander; Furukawa Satoshi (JAXA, Japan), ISS-28/29 Flight Engineer, Soyuz TMA-02M Flight Engineer.

Backup crew: Pettit Donald (NASA, USA), ISS-28 Flight Engineer, ISS-29 Commander, Soyuz TMA-02M Flight Engineer; Kononenko Oleg (Roscosmos, Russia), ISS-28/29 Flight Engineer, Soyuz TMA-02M Commander; Andre Kuipers (ESA, The Netherlands), ISS-28/29 Flight Engineer, Soyuz TMA-02M Flight Engineer.

The members of the primary and backup crews reported their readiness for the mission.

The launch of the Soyuz-FG integrated launch vehicle with the Soyuz TMA-02M spacecraft to the ISS Orbital Complex is planned for June 8, 2011 at 00:12:45 a.m. Moscow time.
