The State Commission held its meeting at Baikonur launch site where the primary and backup crews for Soyuz TMA-20 were approved and the readiness of the space launcher system was confirmed.

The State Commission approved the proposed composition of the primary and backup crews.

Prime crew: KONDRATIEV Dmitriy Yurievich (Roscosmos, Russia), ISS-26 Flight Engineer, ISS-27 Commander, Soyuz TMA-20 Commander; NESPOLI Paolo Angelo (ESA, Italy), ISS-26/27 Flight Engineer, Soyuz TMA-20 Flight Engineer; COLEMAN Catherine Grace (NASA, USA), ISS-26/27 Flight Engineer, Soyuz TMA-20 Flight Engineer.

Backup crew: IVANISHIN Anatoliy Alekseevich (Roscosmos, Russia), ISS-26 Flight Engineer, ISS-27 Commander, Soyuz TMA-20 Commander; FURUKAWA Satoshi (JAXA, Japan), ISS-26/27 Flight Engineer, Soyuz TMA-20 Flight Engineer; FOSSUM Michael Edward (NASA, USA), ISS-26/27 Flight Engineer, Soyuz TMA-20 Flight Engineer (they are both Roscosmos, Russia cosmonauts).

The members of the primary and backup crews reported their readiness for the mission.

The launch of the Soyuz-FG integrated launch vehicle with the Soyuz TMA-20 spacecraft to the ISS Orbital Complex is planned for December 15, 2010 at 22:09 Moscow time.
