In the Spacecraft Assembly and Testing Facility of the Baikonur branch office the work is continuing per Soyuz TMA-20 pre-launch processing schedule.

RSC Energia specialists have completed replacing the spacecraft's descent vehicle with the one that was delivered to the Facility two days ago.

At present, the work has been completed to connect electrical and pneumatic/hydraulic connectors between the descent vehicle and the instrumentation/propulsion module and the orbital module, tests are being run on the electrical circuits and pneumatic/hydraulic lines of the spacecraft.

The work is performed in accordance with the approved schedule.


For reference:

    The Soyuz TMA-20 descent vehicle which was removed from the spacecraft, has been returned to RSC Energia. The specialists of the Corporation and of its subcontractors analyze the status and the integrity of the descent vehicle structure and on-board systems. Based on the results of this analysis, a decision will be made on its further use.
