MAJOR INCREMENT TASKS
- Launch of the visiting crew (VC-16) spaceflight participant, U.S. citizen Charles Simonyi by manned spacecraft Soyuz TMA-14;
- Transport spacecraft Soyuz TMA-14 off-loading;
- Soyuz spacecraft handover during nominal changeover of the Soyuz TMA-13 spacecraft performing a function of a rescue-vehicle as part of the ISS since October 14, 2008;
- Implementation of the utilization program and life science experiments for Charles Simonyi onboard the ISS;
- Communication with the Russian Mission Control Center;
- Provision of proper habitability onboard the ISS;
- Taking a route for the ISS urgency egress;
- Equipment transfer to the Soyuz TMA-13 transport spacecraft;
- Return of spaceflight participant Charles Simonyi to the Earth together with two ISS-18 crew members Yuri Lonchakov and Michael Fincke in the descent capsule of the Soyuz TMA-13 transport spacecraft.
