Launch:
  On April 15, 2005 at 04 hours 46 minutes 25 seconds Moscow Time (00:46:25 UTC) the Soyuz-FG launch vehicle launched the Russian Soyuz TMA-6 manned transport vehicle
Launch Site:
  Baikonur launch site, Republic of Kazakhstan.
Docking:
  On April 17, 2005 at 06 hours 20 minutes 25 seconds Moscow Time (02:20:25 UTC) the space vehicle came in contact with the docking port of docking compartment module Pirs as part of the ISS Orbital Complex
Undocking:
  On April 24, 2005 at 22 hours 42 minutes Moscow Time (18:42 UTC) the Soyuz TMA-5 manned transport vehicle was undocked from Zarya Module as part of the ISS Orbital Complex
Landing:
  On April 25, 2005 at 02 hours 07 minutes 27 seconds Moscow Time (April 24 22:07:27 UTC) the landing took place.
Landing Site:
  Near the town of Arkalyk, Republic of Kazakhstan
Flight duration:
  9 days 21 hours 21 minute 2 seconds

 

MAJOR INCREMENT TASKS

  • Launch of the visiting crew participant Italian astronaut Roberto Vittori from ESA by manned spacecraft Soyuz TMA-6, Flight 10S;
  • Planned changeover of Soyuz TMA-5, which has been acting as a crew rescue vehicle as part of the ISS since 16 October, 2004;
  • Implementation of the experimental program under the ISM Eneide Project onboard the ISS;
  • Solution of the ISS crew flight technical support tasks;
  • Return to Earth of Italian astronaut Roberto Vittori from ESA with the ISS-10 crew in Soyuz TMA-5descent capsule.
