In 1992 he graduated from Moscow Aviation Technology College.
MARITAL STATUS: single.
HOBBY: cycling, skiing.
From March, 1991, to April, 1996, - an engineer at S.P.
Korolev RSC Energia.
On April 2, 1996, he was taken on the list of RSC Energia
cosmonaut team as a candidate test-cosmonaut.
In 1998 he was assigned as a test-cosmonaut at RSC Energia.
From June, 1996, to March, 1998, he passed through the course
of general space training at Gagarin cosmonaut training
From October, 1998, to August, 2000,
at the cosmonaut team on ISS program.
Since September, 2000 he passed through the course of training as a flight engineer for backup crew of the 1-st Russian visit to the ISS.
In 2001 Kozeev passed the flight training as the prime crew flight engineer of the Soyuz TM vehicle under the program of ISS visiting crew (Expedition 2).
