Fedor Pavlovich Gerasimov
Born on May 13, 1907 in village Shirino, Tula Area of Tula Region.
He graduated from Tula Mechanical Institute, Process-Mechanical Engineer (1934).
1934-1939 - Designer, Head of technical office, shop foreman, Deputy chief engineer of Plant No. 19 named after I.V. Stalin (Molotov, now Perm).
1939-1940 - Head of manufacturing preparation department, Deputy chief engineer of Plant No.29 (Zaporozhie).
1940-1941 - Head of manufacturing preparation department, Deputy chief engineer of Plant No.452 (Dnepropetrovsk).
1941-1942 - Production foreman of plant No.337 (Kuibyshev, now Samara).
1942-1947 - Production foreman of plant, Deputy chief engineer of plant No. 45 (Moscow).
1947-1948 - Chief engineer of plant No.4 (Moscow).
1948-1952 - Chief engineer of plant No. 27 (Moscow).
1952-1953 - Director of plant No. 293 (Khimki, Moscow Region).
1953-1955 - Director of plant No. 88 (Kaliningrad, Moscow region).
Led the manufacturing of geophysical rocket R-1E, missiles R-2, R-5, the first strategic missile R-5M, missiles R-11, R-11M and R-11FM.
He was awarded the Order of the Red Banner of Labor, Order of the Red Star. medals "For Labor merit ", "In Memory of the 800th anniversary of Moscow".
