Alexei Andreevich Borisenko
(1930 - 2004)
Born in Duboviki village of Vasilkovsky district, Dnepropetrovsk region. Graduated from the Dnepropetrovsk State University, mechanical engineer (1955).
1955-1966 - foreman, hydraulic test rig manager, senior foreman, deputy shop manager and head of engineering office, shop manager of Plant 88.
1966-1978 - deputy chief engineer - head of production of Experimental Machine-building Plant (ZEM).
1978-1989 - deputy general director of NPO Energia - director of ZEM of NPO Energia (Kaliningrad, Moscow region).
1989-1994 - first deputy General Director of NPO Energia - director of ZEM.
1994-1999 - First Vice President of S.P. Korolev RSC Energia - Director of CJSC ZEM of S.P. Korolev RSC Energia.
1999-2004 - deputy Director of CJSC ZEM of S.P.Korolev RSC Energia - chief consultant to the President of S.P.Korolev RSC Energia for manufacturing.
He was directly involved in setting up production, developing manufacturing processes for our country's first long-range ballistic missiles and launch vehicles, our country's first unmanned spacecraft and satellites, in manufacturing space systems under programs of manned spacecraft Vostok, Voskhod, Soyuz, lunar programs L1 and N1-L3, programs of orbital stations Salyut, Mir, cargo spacecraft Progress, space upper stages Block D and DM, reusable space system Energia-Buran, International Space Station, first Yamal communications satellites. He is an organizer of serial production of products under conversion programs at ZEM (manufacturing of consumer goods, prosthetic and orthopedic appliances, etc.).
Winner of State Prize of USSR (1980). He is the holder of the orders of the Red Banner of Labor (1971, 1976), of Lenin (1990), of Merit for the Fatherland, IV Class (1996), medal for Valorous Labor in commemoration of 100th anniversary of V.I. Lenin (1970). Honorary citizen of the town of Korolev (2002).
