Home Port activities:

  • SC fueling, tests, ILV integration
  • ILV transfer and "dry roll-out"
February 2, 2005 - February 14, 2005 ACS and LP sea transit to the launch site
February 15-18, 2005

Pre-launch processing

February 19, 2005

A decision was made to return ILV to hangar because of bad weather forecast.

February 21-23, 2005

Pre-launch processing was resumed based on a good weather forecast

February 23, 2005 The countdown was aborted at 7 min 8 sec before scheduled lift-off due to an off-nominal situation on the Zenit-2S.
February 23, 2005 - February 28, 2005 Activities to analyze and correct the causes and effects of the off-nominal situation on the LV
March 1, 2005

At 6 hours 51 min. Moscow Time (February 28, 2005 at 19 hours 51 mn. Pacific Time) the 15th launch from the launch platform Odyssey was accomplished. XM Radio-3 spacecraft was put into its target orbit.

Post-launch operations, the start of the sea transit to the Home Port.
