July 9, 1999 Rocket Segment personnel starts to perform launch procssing work at Home Port.
July 9 -September 4, 1999 Zenit-2S Launch Vehicle modifications, annual maintenance, preparation for mating.
July 24 -September 3, 1999

Block DM-SL Upper Stage modifications, pneumatic tests and electrical tests.

September 4, 1999

Start of Block DM-SL Upper Stage parallel processing for next launch.

September 4-6, 1999

Block DM-SL Upper Stage loading with high-boiling propellant components.

September 7-19, 1999 ILV assembly (mating of Zenit-2S , Block DM-SL Upper Stage and Payload Unit with Direc TV SC).
September 19, 1999

Transfer of Zenit-3SL Integrated Launch Vehicle with Direc TV SC from the Assembly-Command Ship to the Launch Platform.

Integrated tests of systems and equipment together with ILV under the ILV Dry Roll-Out program, ILV critical launch readiness checklist is performed.
September 26, 1999 Start of Launch Platform and Assembly-Command Ship transit to the Equator.
October 6, 1999 Launch Platform and Assembly-Command Ship have come to the launch site.
October 7, 1999 Start of activities at the launch site under the first launch day program. Check of the technical state of Rocket Segment systems and equipment, preparation for ILV roll-out to the launch pad.
October 8, 1999 ILV roll-out and erection on the launch pad. Critical launch readiness checklist.
October 10, 1999 ILV loading with propellant components, nominal launch readiness checklist.At 7:28 A.M. Moscow Time (October 9, 1999 Pacific Time) is carried out the first commercial launch under the Sea Launch Program.
