Measat-3a spacecraft Upper stage Block DM-SLB has delivered spacecraft (SC) Measat-3a with a mass of about 2.4 tons into its target geotransfer orbit.
The launch took place under the Land Launch program using Zenit-2SB launch vehicle (lift-off at 1 hour 50 minutes Moscow Time).

Soyuz TMA-15 spacecraft  docking to the ISS The Russian manned transportation spacecraft Soyuz TMA-15 has docked with the International Space Station.
The spacecraft approached ISS after two days of free flight in low Earth orbit. Rendezvous with the space station, its fly-around, stationkeeping and docking were performed in automatic mode.

Soyuz LV take-off In accordance with the mission plan of the International Space Station (ISS) and Russian commitments under the ISS project, a manned spacecraft Soyuz TMA-15 was launched from Baikonur launch site at 14:34:53 Moscow Time.
The objective of the launch was to deliver to the ISS the Expedition 20 crew (ISS-20): cosmonaut Roman Romanenko (spacecraft commander, Russia), and astronauts: a citizen of Belgium Frank De Winne (the spacecraft flight engineer 1, ESA) and a citizen of Canada Robert Thirsk (the spacecraft flight engineer 2, Canadian Space Agency).

The Soyuz TMA-15 spacecraft docking with the ISS is scheduled to occur on May 29, 2009 at 4:36 p.m. Moscow Time. A live coverage of the docking is planned.

The ISS-20 crews A session of the State Commission was held. The Head of the Gagarin Cosmonaut Training Center V.V. Tsibliev made a report on the crew readiness for the mission. The President and General Designer of the S.P.Korolev RSC Energia V.A.Lopota made a report on the readiness of the integrated launch vehicle/manned spacecraft system Soyuz-FG/Soyuz TMA for further pre-launch processing. The State Commission confirmed the primary and backup crews of Soyuz TMA-15 and ISS-20, and also made a decision to proceed with the preparation of the integrated launch vehicle/spacecraft system Soyuz-FG/Soyuz TMA-15 for fueling and launch at the scheduled time - on May 27, 2009, at 2:34 p.m. Moscow Time.

Soyuz launch vehicle A rollout of the Soyuz spacecraft from the assembly-test facility to the launch site was provided. The Soyuz-FG launch vehicle with the Soyuz TMA-15 transport spacecraft was erected on the launch pad. Operations under the launch minus two days program began.
The launch of the Soyuz-FG integrated launch vehicle with the Soyuz TMA-15 spacecraft to the ISS Orbital Complex is planned for May 27, 2009 at 14:34:49 Moscow time.

Primary  crew of the Soyuz TMA-15 manned vehicle In the assembly/test building primary (Roman Romanenko (Gagarin Cosmonaut Training Center, Russia), Frank De Winne (ESA, Belgium), Robert Thirsk (CSA, Canada)) and backup (Dmitriy Kondratiev (Gagarin Cosmonaut Training Center, Russia), Andre Kuipers (ESA, the Netherlands), Christopher Hadfield (CSA, Canada)) crews of the Soyuz TMA-15 transportation spacecraft made a check inspection of the spacecraft in the launch configuration and got acquainted with equipment to be delivered and returned to the ground.

Soyuz-U LV takeoff At 22:37:09 Moscow Time a space logistics spacecraft Progress M-02M was launched from the Baikonur launch site.
The objective of the launch is to provide support needed for continuing the flight of the International Space Station (ISS) in accordance with the Russian commitments under the ISS project, as well as to continue developmental testing of the logistic spacecraft of the new series.
