Main crewA meeting of the State Board was held at which the Soyuz TMA-2 and ISS-7 prime and backup crews were approved, as well as a decision was made to continue the Rocket & Space Complex processing for filling and launch within the scheduled time.
The prime crew consists of: Yuri Ivanovich Malenchenko, commander - flight cosmonaut of RF, test cosmonaut of the Yu.A. Gagarin Cosmonaut Training Center, and Edward Tsang Lu, NASA's astronaut, flight engineer.
The backup crew consists of: Alexander Yurievich Kaleri, commander - flight engineer of RF, test cosmonaut of S.P. Korolev RSC Energia, and Colin Michael Foale, NASA's astronaut, flight engineer.

Soyuz TMA-2At 5:00 a.m. Moscow time launch vehicle with the Soyuz TMA-2 spacecraft was transferred from Assembly and Testing Facility to launch site. The Soyuz-FG - Soyuz TMA-2 system was erected on the launcher.

Preparation of the Soyuz TMA-2 spacecraft for launch to the International Space Station with the Expedition 7 crew is in good progress.

In the LV processing facility, the orbital module was integrated with the launch vehicle.

At 15 hours Moscow time, a meeting of the Governmental Commission and the Technical Management was held where a decision was made to roll out the launch vehicle carrying Soyuz TMA-2 to the launch pad.

Expedition Seven crews to the ISS consisting of Yu. Malenchenko, Ed Lu (prime crew) and A. Kaleri, M. Foale (backup crew) arrived to Baikonur to the launch site to immediate training for the flight to the ISS scheduled on April 26.

The regular Annual Shareholders' Meeting of the Public Corporation Rocket and Space Corporation Energia after S.P. Korolev was held. The meeting was convened as appropriate on decision made by the Corporation Board of Directors. This is the tenth shareholders' meeting starting from 1994 when the company was incorporated.

In view of Cosmonautics Day, the managers and representatives from the team of S.P. Korolev RSC Energia, the Administration and public of Korolev, the associates of S.P. Korolev and the Corporation's veterans, the relatives of Sergei Pavlovich have laid the wreaths at the memorial plaques and monuments to the outstanding scientist and designer on the territory of the Corporation and Korolev, to the monuments of the space exploration scientists and heroes at the Cosmonauts' lane in Moscow.

At Baikonur, Kazakhstan, a rally was held to celebrate the Cosmonautics Day, and flowers were laid at the monuments to the Chief Designer of rocket and space systems S.P.Korolev and to the first cosmonaut of Earth Yu.A.Gagarin. The rally was attended by managers and specialists from S.P.Korolev RSC Energia, who are currently preparing for launch the manned transport spacecraft Soyuz TMA-2, representatives of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the town Administration and general public, Baikonur launch site, other organizations of the rocket and space industry.
