A meeting was held at S.P. Korolev Rocket and Space Corporation Energia between the Corporation President and General Designer V.A. Lopota and a delegation from the International Astronautical Federation (IAF) headed by the Executive Director of the Federation Philippe Willekens.
Reviewed in the course of the meeting were issues related to holding in October 2009 an IAF Congress in Korea, and in 2010 a lunar studies Conference, as well as to the participation of the S.P.Korolev RSC Energia in the Federation activities.
After the meeting, the IAF delegation visited the Corporation Museum.

It includes about 200 organizations from all over the world that are directly involved in the study and use of space, including space agencies and companies in space industry, research institutions, universities and other professional organizations. S.P.Korolev RSC Energia has been an IAF member since 2007.
