the city of Korolev, Moscow Region.

S.P.Korolev RSC Energia hosted training sessions under the crew-training program for Expedition Eighteen to the International Space Station (ISS-18), which were supervised by the Corporation specialists.
Astronauts Sandra Magnus and Nicole Stott (NASA, USA), Koichi Wakata and Soichi Noguchi (JAXA, Japan) familiarized themselves with the Progress cargo transportation spacecraft design and operational features, with the purpose and use of tools needed to perform maintenance and repair work on-board ISS, as well as with the ham radio equipment available on-board ISS RS intended for communications with amateur radio stations.
