The First Vice President, the First Deputy General Designer of S.P. Korolev RSC Energia N.I. Zelenshchikov met today with the President of the Italian Space Agency G. Bignami
During the meeting, which was held at the S.P. Korolev RSC Energia, they discussed plans of the Italian Space Agency and S.P. Korolev Rocket and Space Corporation Energia, and possible areas of future cooperation in the development of space transportation systems and space communications.
The President of the Italian Space Agency G. Bignami and The First Vice President, the First Deputy General Designer of S.P. Korolev RSC Energia N.I. Zelenshchikov stated that the cooperation between the two countries in large international space projects is very effective (for example, within the framework of the International Space Station and the advanced new-generation manned transportation spacecraft). This cooperation needs to be further developed.
Taking part in the meeting were: on the Italian side – G. Cavallo, A. Beretta, G. Arrigo, P. Spillantini, and on the Russian side – A.V. Vovk, A.G. Derechin, N.A. Brukhanov.
