On May 30, 2007 a regular annual meeting of the Coordinating Board for Product life-cycle Data Support technologies (CB-PDS) took place. For the first time, the Coordinating Board for PDS technologies was held at Korolev Rocket and Space Corporation Energia.
The attendees were welcomed by Korolev RSC Energia President, General Designer N.N. Sevastyanov. He pointed out an important role of PDS-technologies at the enterprises of the rocket and space industry. “It is important that these enterprises would work in one single system”, N.N. Sevastyanov stressed.
CB-PDS chairman FSUE TsNIImash General Director Academician N.A. Anfimov listed the names of the new members of the Coordinating Board.
CB-PDS Secretary G.P. Shinkin hold a report on the activities of the departmental target program “Introduction of PDS-Technologies at the Enterprises of the Rocket and Space Industry in the Years 2006-2010”. FSUE Tekhnomash Head of Department V.V. Khomenko told about the activities and tasks of automation of the engineering preparation for production at his enterprise.
Deputy Head of Division A.S. Timofeyev reported on the status in the field of PDS-technologies at the Corporation. Besides the information about successes and problems in the filed of automation, it was proposed for the branch enterprises to actively work with the national developers of the software for PDS-technologies, immediately participate in these developments.
Upon CB-PDS work completion, the participants in the meeting visited the Museum of the Corporation and got familiar with the exposition.
