Top managers from the Federal Space Agency and leading companies in the Russian space industry extended their New Year’s greetings to the International Space Station (ISS) Expedition 12 crew - Russian cosmonaut Valeri Tokarev (Flight engineer, Gagarin Cosmonaut Training Center) and US astronaut William McArthur (Commander, NASA), who have been working on board the space station since October 3, 2005.
Talking during a TV communications session, the Agency director A.N.Perminov and RSC Energia President, Designer General N.N.Sevastianov noted that the crew have been working productively under the Expedition program, and wished V.Tokarev and W.MacArthur good health, successful completion of their work plan and safe return to Earth.
Taking part in the communications session held at the MCC-M were Co-chairman of the State Committee V.A.Grin, Director General of the Central Research Institute for Machine Building (TsNIIMash) A.A.Anfimov, Director of the Institute for Medical and Biological Problems (IMBP) A.I.Grigoriev, First deputy head of the Cosmonaut Traning Center V.G.Korzun, representatives from Roskosmos, S.P.Korolev RSC Energia, TsNIIMash and MCC-M.
