Experiment MOUSE TELEMETER is a part of the scientific research program to be conducted by ESA astronaut of the Dutch nationality Andre Kuipers onboard the ISS RS in the frame of DSM Delta Project. The European Space Agency is a customer of the preparation and implementation of the research program.

USED SCIENCE HARDWARE:

• MOT Pouch
  • MOT Box,
    containing 3 orthogonal accelerometers, dedicated electronics, battery pack and memory card, on which data on acceleration measurements in three orthogonal orientations are recorded.
  • MOT Memory card
    to return MOT memory card to the ground.

PURPOSE:

Testing and calibration of small accelerometers developed under "Space Telemetry for Animal Research (STAR)" program. The necessary calibration data can only be gathered under microgravity conditions.

OBJECTIVE:

Autonomous calibration of accelerometers in microgravity.

EXPERIMENT RESULTS:

Data on acceleration measurements in three orthogonal orientations recorded on MOT memory card.
