PURPOSE:
Determine the critical factors for the onset of
helical instabilities in high-intensity discharge
lamps and characterize radial de-mixing by emission
spectroscopy.
OBJECTIVE:
Take radially resolved emission spectra and data
on helical instabilities in plasma.
EXPERIMENT RESULTS:
Information recorded on Pen Drive data storage and
videotapes located in ARGES Return Kit.
