FLIGHT EQUIPMENT USED:

  • Angular rate vector gyrometer of the guidance and navigation control system;
  • Accelerometers;
  • Micro-acceleration meters of the onboard measurement system.
 

OBJECTIVE:

Determination of the ISS gravitation environment.

TASKS:

Measurement of micro-accelerations at science hardware accommodation locations:
- in operation of the onboard equipment having rotating parts (gyrodynes, fans);
- when establishing and keeping various ISS attitude modes;
- when performing crew egresses into space and physical exercises.

EXPECTED RESULTS:

Updating of mathematical models of the ISS gravitation environment.
