USED SCIENCE HARDWARE:

“Bioecologia” kits (2), each consisting of 4 "Bioecologia" cases, which contain:

  • Container;
  • Vial with an ampoule with lyophilized cultures (12);
  • Tube with biosample vials (4);
  • Temperature data logger
 

PURPOSE:

Compare specifics of heterologous expression of HbsAg gen of hepatitis B virus in yeasts S.cerevisiae under microgravity and gravity conditions and establish synthesis optimization techniques.

OBJECTIVES:

  • Produce a clone collection of producer strain with heritable deviations in HbsAg gen expression level.
  • Perform a genetic analysis and restriction mapping of plasmids and mutant clones.

EXPERIMENT RESULTS:

"Bioecologia" cases with investigated organisms returned to the ground.

EXPECTED RESULTS:

Obtaining maximum complete potential characteristics of heterologous expression of HbsAg gen of hepatitis B virus in yeasts S.cerevisiae. Thereafter new principles of increasing producers’ efficiency will be developed.
