On January 27, 2006 Roscosmos and Space Adventures (USA)
concluded a contract for a flight of Anoushek Ansari, U.S.
citizen to the ISS Russian Segment as a spaceflight participant
of the visiting crew 11.
In the course of on-orbit flight on the ISS RS Anoushek Ansari
will perform a program of utilization activities and two
scientific experiments of the European Space Agency.

The cargo traffic to support the VC-11 spaceflight participant mission is implemented using transport vehicles Soyuz TMA-9 (delivery to the ISS RS) and Soyuz TMA-8 (return).
